The FCC has released its status report on the post-broadcast incentive auction TV station repack, which involves most of 1,000 full powers and 2,000 low powers in a 10-phase plan,

Currently the OAB is gearing up for the National Association of Broadcasters State Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.
Oregon Association of Broadcasters Executive Board Members will join me at the Capitol in D.C. on Wednesday, February 27th to meet with members of the of Congress representing Oregon.
With several major issues up for debate, discussion is only just beginning as the third week of the 2019 Legislative Session comes to a close. While the Capitol traditionally stays open for business during snow days, if inclement weather closes the building next week, expect the political temperature of legislators to skyrocket as already overloaded committee schedules lead to anger and frustration.
The NAB has been working closely with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Incentive Auction Task Force to ensure viewers do not lose access to their local TV stations during station frequency moves due to the spectrum repack.
This week the FCC announced a consumer call center to help viewers navigate the rescan process that must occur each time a station transitions to a new frequency.
Elimination of Requirement that Broadcasters Post Their Licenses Becomes Effective

As we wrote here, at the FCC’s December meeting, the FCC was scheduled to adopt an order eliminating the requirement that broadcasters post a physical copy of their licenses and other instruments of authorization at their control points or transmitter sites.

FCC Sets Up Re-Scan Help Desk for Consumers Dealing With TV Repacking
