Local Radio Freedom Act Adds 14 Representatives and Two Senators as Cosponsors

New OAB President / Executive Director

The Oregon Association of Broadcasters (“OAB”) is pleased to announce its new President & Executive Director, Bob Singer. Singer will lead the organization in 2020 and beyond replacing John Tamerlano who will be retiring at the end of the year.

Bob Singer has served on the OAB board for the past seven years and was OAB Chairman in 2017. Bob has been integral in assisting the OAB redefine its role and the services the OAB provides TV and radio broadcasters across the state of Oregon.

We are one week away from the 2019 National EAS Test, commonly called the National Periodic Test (NPT). FEMA will transmit the test VIA the Primary Entry Point (PEP) system. It will not be available on the IPAWS CAP system.
