KPTV-KPDX, a duopoly located in Beaverton, Oregon is recruiting fo rthe position of Sales Assistant.
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include working with Sales Management, Account Executives, and others in the sales department in all aspects of the sales process. Position supports sales department with order entry for broadcast and digital, client makegoods, resolving discrepancies, and assist with development of client presentations, recaps and other sales materials.
II. Essential Job Functions
Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
Supports sales department with accurate order entry and traffic instructions for both broadcast and digital.
Provides sales/service support to the sales team, other station departments and clients. Works with sales team and clients on makegoods, resolving discrepancies, posting and digital analytics reporting and responding timely and appropriately when communicating with clients.
Works collaboratively within the organization to develop client presentations, recaps and other sales materials
Other duties as assigned

Basic office equipment and procedures. Previous media/marketing support experience preferred
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
High School diploma or equivalent. College/university/technical degree in related field preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Attention to detail and follow through.
Can accurately compare and verify information.
Computer skills utilizing Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint and Wide Orbit traffic software preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to maintain a positive attitude and communicate diplomatically with others (sales team, other station personnel, and clients)
Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple duties simultaneously. Works well under pressure and can quickly adjust to changing priorities, goals, procedures and essential details.
Takes initiative and effectively solve problems.
Position requires a self-motivated, flexible individual with strong interpersonal and teaming skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
