Job Summary
NE Oregon AM/FM combo is looking for a highly motivated person with a passion for local news.
You should enjoy the challenge of consistently crafting local news coverage in our small market environment.
Responsibilities include assembling newscasts and co-hosting our simulcast morning drivetime program from 6a to 9a weekdays, covering local events, hosting a daily 30 minute public affairs program on the AM station, and preparing content for our website.
This is a full-time position.
For those interested, play-by-play local sports broadcasting is also a possibility, but not a requirement of the job.
Ambitious college journalism graduates are encouraged to apply as well.
Salary range: $32,000 – $38,000 w/insurance package.
