NPG of Oregon Inc., the dominant news leader in Central Oregon since 1977, is accepting applications for an Operation Supervisor.

This position will oversee all on-air transmissions for the station and will supervise the Control Room staff. This role is also responsible for training the On-Air Technicians in all aspects of the control room, including directing live newscasts, creating/operating graphics for the newscasts, controlling an audio console, and performing master control duties as required, as well as gathering, preparing, and ensuring all programming is ready for air in a timely manner.

Qualified candidates must have excellent computer skills and prior supervisor/leadership experience. Graphic design/video editing experience along with a working knowledge of broadcast television workflows are a plus. Candidates must have strong analytical and organizational skills and be adaptable in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment. This is a leadership position, so candidates need to be able to work independently, with little supervision, and have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills dealing with their own team and staff from other departments. Training will be provided as needed.
