Job Summary
NPG of Oregon, Inc., with an NBC and Fox affiliate in Bend, Oregon is accepting applications for a MMJ / Producer. Bend is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in America and NewsChannel 21 is the most well-respected news leader of Central Oregon, and we have a unique opportunity for someone who wants to learn a variety of positions including weather. It will also include working weekends. In addition, this position will shoot, write, edit stories and go live. Reporters are also fill in producers and anchors. You will be trained in all positions.
We are looking for someone who is willing to fill in on-air and behind the scenes as needed on a daily basis and be able to take on a variety of tasks. If you are smart, hardworking, eager to learn everything a news room has to offer and dedicated to ethical journalism, we want to hear from you. We emphasize enterprise stories and digital first. Facebook Live is a must.
A valid Oregon driver’s license or the ability to obtain one is required.
