Can you fill the shoes of a market legend? How about two market legends? KKNU/New Country 93.3, Eugene/Springfield’s market and format leading station has a monster opportunity for you, (or a team), to be our new morning show on a locally owned, and in a beautiful market that is only an hour away from the beach or the mountains!
The right candidate(s) will possess the ability to concisely deliver compelling, relevant and relatable local content that engages the devoted and casual listener while still being able to focus on what’s most important: the music! You must be able to connect with New Country 93.3 listeners through social media, station events, your community involvement, and you must relish every opportunity to establish yourself/yourselves as the principal face(s) of the radio station market wide.
Bill Barrett, Tim Fox, and Tracy Berry dominated the Eugene/Springfield market for 26 years. They won CMA’s, ACM’s, and were inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2018. They set the market “bar” very high. (And we’re not going to lower it!)
So, are you the talent(s) to raise that bar higher? (You’ll have an immediate advantage because Tracy Berry Is remaining with the station.) Then get me a representative example of your best work ASAP!
