KVAL is looking for an Assignment Manager to drive significant, distinct, and impactful news content on all platforms.
• Set up coverage plans with a multiplatform strategy.
• Assign field crews and coordinate with news producers.
• Help MMJs gather information for stories.
• Work with digital producers to post content to the web.
• Monitor scanners, viewer tips, phone calls, social media sources, and other local and national news sources.
