The Oregon Association of Broadcasters was formed to promote, enhance, strengthen and defend the broadcast industry. The OAB organizes programs and activities designed to encourage and promote sound broadcast customs and practices. The OAB serves as a clearinghouse to answer all public and member's questions about the broadcast industry. The OAB is the statewide organization dedicated to building Oregon citizens' perception of free, over-the-air radio and television broadcasters.

  • The OAB was founded in 1940, and represents an active membership made up of commercial, public, religious, high school and college radio and television stations.

  • Individuals and businesses involved in or allied with the Oregon broadcasting industry fully participate in the OAB as Associate Members.

  • Our goal is to provide you, our valued members and guests, with information about the OAB and the projects in which we're involved. Through this site it is our hope that you'll get to know us better and that we might better serve your needs. Our aim is to provide you with information that is timely and tools that might help you work a little bit easier. Stay as long as you like, and please come back often.

  • As always, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions you can the OAB. We're looking forward to hearing from you.
