Giving: The Bill Schonely Broadcast Scholarship was presented to Mr. Trevor Christenson (University of Oregon) by the Schonz himself. In making the presentation, Schonely recounted a number of Mr. Christenson’s accomplishments leading up to the day’s presentation – not the least was the fact that Trevor, having completed Marine boot camp, is now a U.S. Marine as is Bill Schonely. Giving: J. Dominic Monahan presented Ms. Kathleen Miller (University of Oregon) with the Judith Elizabeth Monahan Memorial Scholarship, noting the similar qualities of dedication and excellence displayed by Ms. Miller that exemplified Judy Monahan’s life.
